So Far, So Good!

So, it's Day 2 of my Biggest Loser Challenge and I am off to a good start! Both yesterday and today I ate really healthy, watched my portions and got in 30 minutes of cardio. I am proud of myself so far!!! One resolution off to a great start!

Resolution #2 -- as per my previous post, I mentioned that I wanted to keep sewing. Sooooo, I have decided to start a new project. A quilt!!! Pretty risque for a novice at sewing, eh?

Kim from www.youcanmakethis.com is looking for some sewing buddies to sew along with her on a simple quilt and I decided to go for it! You can read about it here: http://ycmt.wordpress.com/ -- I am kinda nervous but super excited at the same time. I am looking forward to seeing what I can do -- following Kim's instruction of course!!!

So stay tuned for all the exciting details and to see how I continue to do with my resolutions!

Congrats on the Biggest Loser Competition. We are supposed to be having a similar competition at work based on the Biggest Loser (but it hasnt' started yet). That didn't stop me from starting out. I, like you, ate healthier, watched portions, exercised for the first two days. The last 3 or 4 haven't been as good--2 of them down right lousy as far as what I ate. But I have still been getting in the exercise. I figure at this point, that is the most important thing in keeping me healthy!
Like you, I have decided to be one of Kim's sewing buddies for the YCMT Make It Up as You Go Quilt. I will be following your BL and your YCMT experiences here on your blog. Feel free to do the same with mine.
Crafting together,
Shelly
